Country Side Living (CSL) currently has one location in Canby, Oregon; only 20 minutes from either Portland or Salem. Country Side Living is owned by Erik Berkey who designed the facility for patients suffering from Alzheimers and other forms of dementia. Read Our Company Story.

For Mr. Berkey, Country Side Living is a realization of a dream that began to grow when he was a youngster. Erik used to mow the lawn at Mrs. Quinby's house who ended up living in a local nursing home. He would visit her and other residents at the home. "I really enjoyed visiting with the people, and decided that if I could make a place that will better people's situations, then that would be worth it to me," said Berkey.

Mr. Berkey's motto is "the residents who come to stay at Country Side Living will not be here simply to wait out their time. They'll be here to live!"
