- Decrease your sense of isolation
- Learn from others in your situation
- Learn about resources available to you
- Receive encouragement and moral support from other caregivers
How can You take a break?
Taking a break from caregiving responsibilities is often referred to as "respite". It's important that you take time out because the more rested you are, the better you can take care of your loved one and the better you will be able to cope.
