Country Side Living was about the seventh Alzheimers Care Home that I had visited in my search for my dad. As I walked through the coded door, the first impression I had was it's cleanliness and it's "homey" atmosphere. The smell of food was everywhere. And I found out later, snacks are offered many times throughout the day. The next important observation I made was the Care Givers and their "hands-on" style. They were constantly hugging, touching or acknowledging a resident. Two of the lady residence had their hair in curlers and one was getting her nails painted. One of the Care Givers did this on a regular basis.

Whenever I visited dad, which was several times a week, he was always clean, well shaven and his room was neat and cheerful.

I believe the philosophy of the owners and staff of Country Side Living is to make the residence, their families and friends feel like a large family. And they succeeded! We were always welcome. My whole family felt secure in the fact that dad was only there for about three months before he passed away. And the only regrets we have was not finding this home sooner so he could have enjoyed the many attributes that Country Side Living Alzheimers Facility offers.

There are many other things I could recommend. And I, along with the rest of the family, am spreading this information to anyone in need of an excellent Alzheimers Care Facility.
