From The Family of Lillian Hansen

My daughter, Melissa, and son, Ryan's grandmother, Lillian Hansen, was a resident at Country Side Living. Even though we're sad to say her stay was not as long as we would have hope,. her time there was wonderful she received the care that we who loved her felt she needed. It was easy to see that the staff was well trained and were extremely caring people, which made Lillian, or as your staff called her (Miss Lilly), feel welcome and safe.

When her grandchildren or myself would come for a visit we were greeted in a friendly cheerful way and always felt welcome by the staff. We never witness or experienced any disorder. We were so impressed with everything from not only the kindness and care shown and the cleanliness of the residents was all reassurance for not only Lillian but her family as well,that she was in a wonderful place.

The last 10 days of Lillian's (Miss Lilly's) life was quite emotional and heart breaking for her grandchildren. As adults this was their first experience with the loss of someone so close. Your staff was so caring in letting them stay with her during those final days. Your staff showed them such compassion for what they were going through by giving them information on her condition, answering their questions, reassuring them that there grandmother could hear them and to feel free to talk to her. Both took the advice given them by your staff. This information allowed them the opportunity and reassurance to express their love and memories of the past 36 years. I know this gave each great comfort and will continue to give them comfort in the years to come.

We would like to give special recognition and thanks to Mary Reitan and Karla Wymer along with the rest of your staff for the outstanding work they do above and beyond what we feel must be in their job descriptions.

We only ask that you know the fine job that each person does at the care facility from the administrative staff, nursing care staff, to the food preparation staff, to the cleaning staff. All of you do an outstanding job and for this Miss Lilly's family will be forever grateful!
