Country Side Living welcomes volunteers! If you have a talent you'd like to share with others, please call our Activity Directors, Sherri and Susan at 503-266-3031. Whether you play music, teach arts and crafts, or just play a board game with a new friend, you won't believe how rewarding it is to be a part of someone's life.

Here what some of our volunteers help us with:

Margaret lives in Senior Estates and comes in once a month to host a tea party complete with fancy hats as well as china tea cups and saucers. She comes in, rolls her sleeves up and begins peeling potatoes, washing dishes or starts on any other job that we have. Her laughter and constant smile make her a joy to be around.

Gladys is another wonderful person who spends hours helping us as she visits with her sister and the other residents.

Inez and Mary play music every Thursday. It's a miracle to see residents who normally don't communicate much but who can sing "Amazing Grace" all the way through.

We couldn't make it without our volunteers and are so grateful for their dedication to us. We love our volunteers and would love to have more!
